MY SUNDAYS

Pursuing the SUNDAYS -- A few years ago while watching TV, I happened (by chance) to come across a Budweiser commercial that will stay with me forever. The Budweiser commercial showed a pack of graceful wild horses running majestically on a clear snowy mountain, their powerful legs and hoofs plowing into the soft snow, and their dark brown hair freely whipping the air around them. The commercial was okay, but the song "Wild Horses" grabbed my undivided attention. The person who sung that song, sung it so beautifully. I wanted to buy the CD that contained the "Wild Horses" song, but I thought that song was made for commercial use and that no full-length song was available.

About a year later, I was in my backyard doing some yard work when out of the blue I heard something that sounded very familiar. Yes, it was the song "Wild Horses!" It came from a neighbor's house, but who? I didn't want to go and bother all my neighbors and ask if they had just played the song "Wild Horses." I figured I would have a greater success in finding "Wild Horses" by going to one of New York City's biggest music store, Tower Records. My experience with Tower Records wasn't good, when I asked varies employees at Tower Records about the song "Wild Horses", they all respond by saying either "What?", "What was that again?", "Wild what?", or "That's only the jingle for Budweiser."

Frustrated at the responses that I got I decided to call my local radio station, Z100, to see if they know anything about the mysterious song "Wild Horses." When I did, a lady who was DJ'ing at that time it told me that it could have been Sarah McLachlan. I wanted a definite answer so I asked my friend to call the radio station and ask them again. He did and got the group the SUNDAYS. I thought that was weird they gave him a different answer. The next time I went out, I went to my local music store and I went in search for the SUNDAYS. To my surprise and enjoyment I found the song that was haunting my mind. YES! YES! YES! My life was complete for a while! I had a sense of closure.

From that point on I discovered that The SUNDAYS are one awesome group with many loyal fans who love them and their music.
